Under the theme of “Explore and publicize the charms of Shiga Highland Biosphere Reserve,” students have been pursuing their challenges in the five main areas: (1) Symbiosis between nature and humans, (2) Utilization of natural resources, (3) Utilization of regional resources, (4) Utilization of cultural resources, and (5) International understanding. On the day of the meeting, two groups will make presentations: Nature Group E “Let’s learn more about the nature of Shiga Highland,” and Regional Group A “We want to reduce carbon footprint through our familiar initiatives.”
