Minamirokuroshi in the Sakadani district has finally been certified as an “International Dark Sky Place,” a World Heritage Site for starry skies! Taking this opportunity, we started a new project using the knowledge and connections we gained through learning about the starry sky over the past two years, as well as the skills we developed through a lot of dissemination activities! In the project, we created a “point card” that describes efforts to preserve an environment so that we can see the beautiful starry sky! We distributed the card to all households in Ono City.
